File admin fee – £50.00 plus vat per person

Home visit – £50.00 plus mileage (if required).
Our Grant of Probate only work includes, but not limited too;
Attendance with you and taking your instructions.
Verifying your identification and right to instruct.
Advise of the procedures involved and what we expect of you.
Advise of the approx. timescales.
Thereafter, you will deal with realising the outstanding assets and this firm will have no further involvement.
Should additional work be required, such as further correspondence with the Probate Registry or dealing with matters after receipt of the Grant of Probate/Letters of Administration such as realising assets, our costs are likely to exceed this estimate and the basis of our charging is set out below.

Our Estate Administration includes
- Initial meeting and fact-finding
- Collecting information
- Applying for the Grant of Representation
- Placing public notices and undertaking the relevant asset, liability and Will tracing searches (where required)
- Arranging valuations
- Dealing with Inheritance Tax
- Collecting in assets
- Paying any liabilities
- Distributing the estate
It does not include
- Dealing with the sale or transfer of any land in the estate and a separate charge would be provided by our Property team and a quotation can be provided upon request.
- Dealing with a Deed of Renunciation where one or more of the executors wishes to step down.
- Dealing with assets outside of the UK.
- Disputes arising with an estate.
